Kuala Terengganu is located along the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. To the north lies the Kelantan state and to the South is Pahang. Terengganu covers a land area of 12,995 square kilometers and comprises seven districts: Besut, Setiu, Kuala Terengganu, Hulu Terengganu, Marang, Dungun, and Kemaman. Terengganu boasts a fine tropical climate, and the temperature typically do not fluctuate that much across the year. The maximum temperature range between 28°C and 32°C while the minimum range between 22°C and 25°C. November to February are the wetter months when it is rainy season, with average precipitation of over 500 mm a month. The best season to visit Terengganu is during the dry season (March to October) which offers beautiful weather with sunshine and clear skies at most times.
