The Global Tourism Conference (GTC2025) continues its tradition of advancing academic discourse and fostering collaboration between scholars and industry professionals in the fields of tourism and hospitality. Organised by Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and co-hosted by Tourism Pahang, Victoria University (Australia), and Malaysian Ecotourism Association (MEA). GTC2025 serves as a premier platform for the exchange of scholarly ideas, research findings, and best practices among global experts and practitioners.
Scheduled to take place from 24 to 25 September 2025 at Puncak Inn, Fraser’s Hill, Pahang, Malaysia, the conference marks a return to in-person engagement, offering participants a conducive environment for academic interaction and professional networking.
With the theme ‘Ecotourism: Thriving Sustainable Change’, GTC2025 seeks to highlight the evolving role of ecotourism in promoting sustainability, resilience, and innovation within the tourism sector.
